We're currently looking for an Instructional Designer.
RingCentral is looking for an experienced Instructional Designer who specializes in curriculum design, learningexperience storyboarding, training documentation production, and instructional video & eLearningdevelopment - while also being open to developing other types of enablement content for our CustomerExperience Enablement organization. Working with the Manager of Instructional Design, this role will be a keycontributor to the production of training and enablement needs for our customer and internal enablementprograms. This role will primarily focus on the development of enablement videos, eLearning, anddocumentation that supports our key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Create world-class customer and internal-facing instructional videos, documentation, and eLearning for enablement projects such as self-paced learning courses, ILT, VILT, and certifications final candidates will be asked to provide samples of previous work.
Develop enablement content from others designs while making it engaging and fulfilling for the
participants.
Inject engaging, visual, hands-on activities into your learning programs final candidates will beaskedto provide examples of prior work and a writing sample.
Scope and prioritize learning content development requests.
Measure learning programs for effectiveness.
Manage all aspects of the development cycle including needs analysis, design, implementation,review,and updates.
Drive projects to completion within committed timeframes.
Seek continuous improvement willing to try new ideas to produce better content.
Build and maintain solid cross-functional relationships.
Collaborate with members from various departments within the company to ensure thattraining andenablement content is accurate, relevant, and effective for the target audience and business needs.
Collaborate with various cross-functional departments to coordinate training messages and efforts.
Desired Qualifications:
Proven success with blended learning development for instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training, and self-paced content hosted in a learning management system for adult learners.
Proven project and people management skills self-motivated, organized, honors commitments, and has a problem-solving attitude.
Enjoys working with a dynamic, tight-knit team to produce cutting-edge, high-quality training solutions.
Has the courage and confidence to challenge the status quo expresses views openly, in a professionalmanner.
Stays up to date with training & enablement industry best practices, while willing to try newideas.
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required.
Amenable to work on US hours.
