The Instructional Designer will enhance the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs that will boost employees' workplace performance in alliance with company's core values. Responsibilities include performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials (particularly e-learning content) and for managing all phases of training interventions.
Requirements
Develop and design e-learning content for global deployment
Build training programs and prepare teaching plans for various roles throughout CS
Construct and deploy a cohesive leadership development program
Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
Translate requirements into trainings that will groom employees for the next step of their career path
Demonstrate ROI of learning courses, measuring quality improvements over time
Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions
Deliver training courses
Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior
Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree preferably in industrial/organizational communication, education, multimedia design, instructional design, or a related field in training development
2+ years of demonstrated experience as an e-learning developer
2+ years experience in training and development
Strong facilitation and employee engagement skills
Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
Ability to transform raw source content (such as a Word document or a PowerPoint) into a meaningful and effective training solution
Experience with e-learning development software such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline
Preferably with knowledge in LMS
Knowledge in Microsoft Application (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
High drive for results, integrity and initiative
Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects
Strong analytical skills - knowledge with RCA and can build reports
