Instructional Designer (eLearning Developer)
The team creates content to be used in dedicated, classroom, e-Learning and video-based training programs. Assists with the creation of content based on defined curriculum plans and deployment strategies. Works directly with subject matter experts from across the business to gather needed materials and content. This documentation and all necessary checks and sign-offs, is critical to develop training that meets end-user needs.
About the Role
Instructional Designer (eLearning Developer), you will:
Design curriculum for a specific learning programs related to Knowledge Network training deliverables.
Work with a pool of segment resources in the delivery of raw, reusable content in the form of scripts, lesson plans, instructor guides, job aids, etc.
Consistently build relationships with subject matter expert groups needed to gather and codify financial markets content to be delivered.
Provide timely, accurate content to Knowledge On-demand Interactive , Knowledge Live and Video Training teams.
Define the ideal mix of training channels to create excellence in a blended learning program.
Maintain world-class quality standards for training content, employing the fundamental principles of instructional design.
Direct successful projects from start to finish and collaborate with different areas of Knowledge Network and the overall business.
Continually coach, develop, inspire and motivate staff to do exceptional work, creating a collaborative, fun, productive work environment.
Maintain high quality standards for scripts and storyboards used as on-demand modules.
Manage the conversion of instructor-led training scripts into on-demand learning storyboards, scripts and deliverables.
Inject the Thomson Reuters brand attributes into all offerings: human, agile, clear, optimistic.
Continuously build personal knowledge of the financial markets, Thomson Reuters products and the firm's clients.
Attend professional courses and seminars, read journals and trade publications to gain knowledge of market factors affecting assigned primary focus area.
About You
Bachelor's degree holder (required)
Strong English language skills, including college level vocabulary, spelling, punctuation and grammar and sentence structure
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and/or external contacts.
Candidates must be willing to work Mckinley Hill Taguig - HYBRID SET Up (2days in the office and 3 days at home)
Must be willing to work on any shift and shifting schedule. (morning / mid / night shift)
