As a core member of our Product Support team you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.
Your Role:
In this role, the the Monitoring System Administrator will deliver solutions that support the data science strategies of the ITSM & Processing Engineering team. This include projects within Citco's ITSM, monitoring, operational efficiency and transparency strategies. The ITSM & Processing Engineering delivers ITSM Systems, Monitoirng Systems and Data Science services .
The ITSM & Process Engineering team is looking for an experienced Network monitoring Systems Administrator. The primary technology used is DX NetOps Spectrum, Performance Manager and AWS with multiple integrations from additional technologies. The role will responsible for the day to day administration and continuous development of the Infrstructure Monitoring systems.
You will deliver solutions to improve data capture, analysis and usage within Citco strategies
You will contribution to emerging Citco data strategies
You will handle Systems documentation and knowledge base management
About You:
The successful candidate is an energetic and effective team contributor with a passion for data science, new technologies and automation. Must have familiarity with best practices in analysis, and confidence in designing and developing modern solutions
Experience and Technical Skills
You have 5+ years of professional hands-on experience in a Monitoring role.
You have 2+ years of experience with (Bash, Python, Java)
You have demonstrated Knowledge with Nagios and MS System Center Operations Manager
You have demonstrated Knowledge of IP routing, routing protocols, SNMP and MIBs
You are adept in use of troubleshooting and support tools (Wireshark, CLI, and Service Desk)
You have demonstrated Knowledge of API's and REST calls
You have familiarity with LINUX and the Command Line Interface
You have familiarity with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure)
You have understanding and proficiency with Windows and LINUX infrastructure
Education
You have Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
You have certification and training in one or more technology stacks
You have demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and training
