Job Title: Infrastructure Analyst
Scope:
Global Infrastructure support, infrastructure projects, on call and Service Implementations
Close liaison with Internal Service Desk team
Supporting, Implementing and Administering Global infrastructure:
LAN/WAN
Telephony
Servers
Active Directory and Azure
Network Services (DHCP, DNS)
VMWare
Security - ISD/IPS, AlienVault, Firewalls, AV
Detailed Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
Identifying the hardware and software needed to provide solutions to problems;
Responsible for supporting the systems that run the 24x7 TCIS environment
Liaising with internal, external support groups as well as vendors as required;
As and when required reporting on hardware and software (e.g. carrying out audits);
Monitoring and troubleshooting the infrastructure
Providing out of hours support
Reviewing, updating and creating documentation
Provide guidance to Internal Service Desk for Support
Working on, managing and resolving tickets relating to the infrastructure
Ensuring all infrastructure support cases are dealt with, within agreed service levels, and to the customer's satisfaction ensuring all work carried out is satisfactorily documented within the relevant call logging system.
Reporting Responsibilities
Responsible to: IT Operations Manager
Other relationships: To gain the confidence and respect of the users supported, the customers management teams, your colleagues, and the TCIS Management Team.
Customer Relationship Management
Ensure a close working relationship is maintained at all times with the appropriate Customer representatives;
Provide, as and when required information to customers, TCIS staff and management, both pro-actively and reactively, relating to the service being provided.
Requirements
Excellent communication skills. Fluent English, with the ability to communicate professionally and confidently at all levels, both externally and internally;
The ability to gain respect and confidence from co-workers and appropriate management teams;
Prioritise tasks and be flexible, adaptable and able to work to tight deadlines;
To maintain self-motivation and have the ability to organise and manage yourself as well as help motivate others.
Good problem solving skills, analytical thinking and calm under pressure
