Role Summary:
Coordinate the development and implementation of information security and data privacy program to protect ATRAM and its stakeholders on breach of privacy and confidentiality. Responsible for assessing compliance risks and controls implemented by the different business units; and performing independent assurance activities such as testing and ongoing monitoring, to assess the design and effectiveness of key controls designed to address compliance risk; reporting and escalating control issues and any violations of laws or breaches of policy; and validating adequacy of remediation taken to address reported issues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop, implement and execute information security and privacy requirements of ATRAM, in line with Data Privacy Act, e-Commerce Law, Anti-Money Laundering Act, and other applicable regulations of various regulatory bodies such as BSP, SEC, AMLC.
Keep abreast on latest security and privacy legislation, regulations, advisories, and alerts that may pertain to and/or affect ATRAM and its business interests.
Plan and schedule activities and/or tasks pertaining and relating to information security and privacy compliance, including monitoring of IT health checks, and the performance of information security reviews,
Develop and implement an active risk assessment program focused on information security and privacy matters, and routinely administer and monitor measures to ensure that ATRAM's information facility, both physical and logical, is protected from potential breaches, threats and/or hacks emanating from either within or outside the entity.
Take part in all recovery exercises such as, but not limited to, Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery, and Emergency Responsiveness.
Develop and implement an incident reporting and response system to address information security breaches
Respond to alleged policy violations and/or complaints from external parties.
Identify recurring problem and initiate change requests meant to prevent the recurrence of breaches against information security and data privacy.
Ensure that all reported and/or recorded deviations against approved security and privacy policies and procedures went through Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Ensure that the RCA is a standard attachment to all reports concerning deviations.
Execute compliance testing, transactional testing, or compliance controls monitoring activities in accordance with the Compliance Program.
Assist with development and updating of compliance program to ensure that all applicable regulations and controls are incorporated
Obtain and understand regulatory issuances from various regulatory bodies, validate its applicability to different business units, and ensure timely dissemination to the concerned.
Coordinate with concerned business in the performance of gap analysis on all applicable regulatory issuances to ensure ATRAM's compliance to regulatory requirements within the prescribed period noted in the regulation.
Update compliance program to ensure appropriate compliance testing is in place.
Spearhead the development and delivery of educational and training awareness programs for all employees, authorized users and other stakeholders pertaining to anti-money laundering, information security and data privacy, and other regulatory and company policies and procedures.
At least on an annual basis, review all applicable manuals such as but not limited to AML Manual, Risk Management Manual, Business Continuity Manual and Compliance Program Manual, Personal Investment Policy Manual, etc. Incorporate updates in regulatory requirements and changes in processes to ensure that ATRAM policies are compliant with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Assist and support in the design, development, delivery, maintenance and execution of compliance programs, policies and practices, including AML and FATCA requirements.
Act as the Data Protection Officer and an active back-up in the performance of all other functions performed in Risk Management and Compliance Unit, and all other tasks that may be assigned by the Head of RMCU from time to time.
Must have experience in Information Security, Data Privacy or related field
With knowledge of asset management products, economics and financial markets, and relevant rules and regulations
Preferably knowledgeable or familiar in preparing presentation decks and training instrument materials
Experience in developing and administering an information security program is desirable
Working knowledge of and experience in the policy and regulatory environment of information security and data privacy
Good project management, written and oral communications skills
Robust knowledge and understanding of regulations, procedures and processes of trust, investment, and asset management industry
Strong analytical, interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with stakeholders and engaging teams
Excellent documentation skills
Adequate training skills
Sound interpersonal relationship and communication skills
Knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
Self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
