Monitoring of the Students
-Visit the students in the Host Training Establishment/company at least once a week.
-Monitor students' daily attendance in the Work Immersion Program to identify and intervene with at-risk students.
-Creates a learning environment that encourages student involvement and participation during in-classroom activities and company visits.
-Document students' attendance, participation, and academic progress by giving and grading their Performance Tasks, Written Works, and Quarterly Assessments.
-Conduct regular evaluations to identify areas of improvement of the students.
-Regularly update the Grade 12 e-class records.
-Submits course grades of the assigned advisory class to the Grade 12 Department by the assigned date.
Mentoring of the Students
-Help students cope with the transition from in-classroom learning to work-based environment.
-Intervene with the students' issues related to their performance in the Work Immersion Program.
-Help students improve their morale in the workplace.
-Deal with each student's issues on an individual basis and determine the proper strategy for their needs. Coordinating with the Locators
-Liaise with partner locators' representatives (HR Managers/Supervisors, Line Managers/Supervisors) to determine training needs, student concerns, and company's feedback.
-Coordinate with the locators' representative any changes in the training schedule, suspension of classes, and any other pertinent activities that would excuse the students from the training.
-Establish and maintain good relationships with the partner locators.
Finance/Accounting
-Help the students in managing their training allowances.
-Ensure that students pay their tuition and other accountabilities on time.
-Coordinate with locators' Accounting/Payroll Officers regarding student's training allowance.
-Process the billing instructions for those locators' that opt to disburse training allowance through FIRST School.
-Monitor the implementation of Student Allowance Disbursement Agreement.
