POSITION SUMMARY
The Imports Associate is responsible for ensuring that all service providers assigned to her/him (brokers, forwarders and truckers) are paid on time based on agreed payment terms on a weekly basis by working closely with the service providers, shipping carriers, colleagues and ASPEN and is involved in the refund of Container Deposit for all business units with various shipping lines, forwarders and tank operators.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities?
Receives billings of brokers/truckers/forwarders/shipping lines
Processes invoices within 13 days from receipt date and transmit to ASPEN
Provides weekly SOA update per vendor
Processes container deposit refund with various shipping lines for all business units
Process approved invoices in Import SAP shipment tool
Update CIFD monitoring in share point
Provides weekly SOA update
Process all documents for container deposit refund, submit it to brokers/shipping lines and update monitoring in share point at least 2x a week
What are the qualifications?
Graduate of any business-related course, preferably Finance or Accounting.
With at least 2 years related work experience.
Knowledgeable in Import documentations process.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Background in SAP an advantage but not required.
Customer-oriented, highly motivated, proactive, flexible, has keen attention to details and can work well under pressure.
