Job Description
Lead role for all import and export activities
Define and maintain physical logistics process of import, export and customs clearance
Provides related training to logistics service provider
Coordinates with government, broker, and forwarder related to import and export business
Participates in import export projects to support business growth
Monitors forwarder and customs broker performance and implement improvement actions as needed
Check and confirm harmonized system code (code and tariff rates for payment of duties and taxes
Coordinates with warehouse for inbound movement inventory related topics
Monthly cost and KPI related reports collation and submission to region
Monitors inbound related cost
Monitor and ensure active utilization of free trade agreement ( for cost savings of duties payment
Check and monitor if there are new rules and policies in local Customs and other related topics affecting inbound
