Elicit, analyze, communicate and validate business/user requirements for processes, policies and information systems. Translate business needs/end-user requirements into functional specifications that describe what the system, process or product/service must do to fulfil the end-user/business requirements.
What you will be doing
Working in US Banking hours.
Responsible for data analysis using the iSeries/AS400 query tools
Customer print set-up and testing of all notices, forms, letters and statements that our banks present to their customers.
Maybe in contact with bank customers to gather specification and requirements to convert the bank
Will be working with multiple business analysts to assist in the data validation and Users Acceptance Testing
May provide remote support for our bank customers during Users Acceptance Testing
May provide remote support for our bank customers during live and post live implementation which may include issue resolution and manual maintenance
Assist in the testing of any release enhancements
Help create and maintain documentation if required
Long term potentially mapping, specifications, and working with programmers and business analysts to provide specifications to create a conversion program
What you bring
3 years and up Banking experience in the DEPOSIT OPERATIONS area
3 years and up experience in QA Testing - with strong migration and implementation experience
Understand, apply and explain banking concepts
3 years and up strong experience in mapping/spec creation and testing/validation
Technical skills (Computer Science background is a plus
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and working with others/programmers to resolve
Self-driven to meet deliverables and project timelines
Has strong organizational skills
Has the ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects/high volume
Can work independently and in a team environment
Well versed in verbal and written skills in the English language
Proficient in Word and Excel
Software Implementation background is a plus
Bank accounting knowledge is a plus
iSeries/AS400 knowledge is a plus
