BUSINESS CONTINUITY OFFICER (Also Open for Internal Applications)
The Business Continuity Officer is responsible in providing assistance in coordinating, assessing, developing & communicating business continuity requirements to protect the company in the event of an unforeseen disruption.
Responsibilities:
Assist in collaborating extensively with all Company operations, synthesizing information gathered into a single business continuity plan and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Understands the business processes, assets, facilities, responsibilities, regulatory requirements, and interdependencies of the organization.
Assist in identifying and developing appropriate program materials
Assist in periodic testing activities, reports preparation, and monitoring and coordinating actions closure.
Responsible for documenting and maintaining business continuity related tasks and artifacts
Assist in monitoring security situations, severe weather conditions and possible threats on business disruptions, for escalation to team lead
In the event of a disruption, provides support by assisting with crisis management and business continuity activities coordination and execution.
Provide advisory support to assigned business lines on BCM policy and standards and programs.
Drive BCM program within assigned business lines through monitoring of BCM deliverables ensuring adequate follow up and due diligence on any non-adherence
Ensure preparedness and plans are in place for designated business lines, working closely with location leadership and support functions.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required for this position.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in business continuity, crisis management, or disaster recovery (For internal applications, non-BCP experience is being considered as long as employee is highly trainable, with strong potential and passion for the role)
Experience with assisting in conducting business impact analysis
Experience in using business continuity planning applications and emergency notifications systems.
Analytical, highly adaptable and fast learner
Highly organized and with keen attention to details
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)
