Investing in Women
Investing in Women (IW) is a multi-country Australian Government initiative in Southeast Asia that seeks to improve women's economic participation as employees and as entrepreneurs and influence the enabling environment to promote Women's Economic Empowerment (WEE). It commenced in April 2016 with operations in the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Myanmar and is due to run through to June 2023. It is managed out of the Gender Equality Branch (GEB) of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in Canberra. The Program is supporting the following outcomes:
More businesses achieve improved gender equality in their workplaces
Intentional impact investments in women's small and medium enterprises (WSMEs) increase
Positive shifts in gender norms related to workplace gender equality

Job Description
About the Opportunity
Under the supervision of the Senior Human Resources and Office Services Manager, the Human Resources Officer will provide part-time human resources support, 3 days a week. Specifically, the HR Officer will:
Assist with the recruitment, engagement, and onboarding of staff and consultants;
Prepare consultancy contracts; coordinate with hiring managers and consultants;
Record and update Sharepoint- and Excel-based contract registers, staff contact lists, and insurance master lists;
Coordinate with insurance providers on member enrolment, deletion, and other related matters;
Assist with preparation of reports for submission to DFAT (e.g., PERFORMS); and
Perform other related tasks, including support to office services in coordination with the Office Assistant, building administrator, and vendors/service providers
The successful candidate will have flexibility with working from IW office in Makati City, Philippines and from home. Engagement duration is from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023, part-time 3 days per week.
Qualifications
About You
We are seeking an individual who bring or who possess:
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of professional experience in Business Administration/Human Resources Management.
Experience working as a human resources officer.
Experience in compensation and benefits administration and in HRIS is an advantage
