HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMIN SPECIALIST
Job Description:
Responsible for acting as the first point of contact for HR-related concerns and ensuring that appropriate support is given to employees, management, and external partners. Specifically:
Maintain employee records (soft and hard copies)
Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, separations, vacation, and sick leaves)
Prepare payroll and disburse employee’s salaries
Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures
Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information
Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training seminars
Oversee hiring process, which includes
Prepare and post job vacancies on careers pages and process incoming resumes
Conduct application examination and interviews
Provide orientations for new employees by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies
Address any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations
Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
Manage the department’s telephone center and address queries accordingly
Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications
Answer phone calls and endorse them properly
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development or Psychology
Proven related work experience is a plus
Thorough knowledge in labor laws
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office and Google Applications
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks with minimal errors, constant interruptions, and tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail.
Clear and concise phone, email, and in-person communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with people of all skill levels and diverse backgrounds
Teamwork skills
Can work under pressure and minimal supervision
