Job Description
MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
The Assistant Manager for HRIT Governance, Risk and Compliance (ITGRC) is a key individual that drives the adherence and compliance to the policies and standards of Unilever for HR Systems such as Workday and others, supervises the actions and practices of the Global HR Technology group and Business partners to make sure they follow the rules and regulations set by the organization. The person also actively works with the various controls and compliance teams to complete new IT service introduction, implement new and changes to the existing set of controls and challenge redundant policies or controls that are not applicable to the organization.
JOB SUMMARY:
Helps design standard, best practices, and methodologies to help the various HRIT services adhere to the company controls more efficiently.
Works with the Security Lead & downstream teams to ensures security integrity of Workday as single-source of truth system and support sustenance of integrity of other linked platforms
Leads the Service Introduction activities to ensure that service mapping and service design are compliant to existing requirements and mandatory documents and necessary actions and approvals are completed prior to going live and addressing risks and exceptions to policies
Responsible for system certificate Management and s
Leads the engagement with KPMG, SOX and other audit discussions as required.
Reviews the sufficiency and appropriateness of evidences submitted by the HRIT Technical teams and provide guidance to resolve any issues. Monitor the closure of issues until resolution.
Provides guidance to other teams working on the self-audit for Access controls as needed and ensures all evidences are submitted to the auditors on time.
Conducts self-assessment for access controls in Workday non-production tenants and escalate any non-compliance to the service line leads.
Conducts self-assessment in relation to IT General Controls and
identify non-adherence to the company's controls and standards.
Defines and reviews the self-assessment process and scope for Workday non-production tenants.
Identifies potential deficiencies in the controls and escalates as appropriate to the concerned HRIT Tech team member and service line leads and obtain sufficient evidences to mitigate the same.
Defines continuous improvement on the self-assessment procedures, providing a more efficient methodology to conduct the same.
Works with the HRIT service line leads to ensure access and data security complies with privacy requirements defined and maintained in their processes and integration.
Works with the Platform Assurance Leads and Tower Leads to ensure proper documentation, storage, and accessibility of Administrator Guides, and Process Templates of all HRIT processes considers adherence to the controls set by the organization.
Ensures processes comply with audit and regulatory requirements and adherence to processes, best practices, and templates across teams
Be an active member of the Workday Community to ask questions and provide answers to Workday and fellow customers, as well as to keep up to date on the latest Workday security setups and review impact versus the controls set by the organization.
Creates and deliver high level stakeholder updates on policies and standards and drive calls attended by auditors.
Develops and maintains compliance documentations applicable to HRIT services.
Works with the Service Manager to ensure vulnerability risk assessments on HRIT services are conducted and issues are resolved on time.
Seeks opportunities for automation and work with the concerned teams to transition from manual processes where possible, in order to reduce the risk of control deficiencies brought about by manual tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-4 years work experience on the field of operational and compliance audit.
Experience with Privacy Management, Service Management, Configuration Management, and Security Management for Human Resources Management Systems
Strong functional HR knowledge base with firm understanding of HR processes and data, especially as related to HR systems.
Knowledge of Security design, structure, functions, and processes. Experience with Workday Security configuration is a plus
Ability to fully comprehend holistic view of global systems structure and HR processes to make solid, independent decisions with confidence
Advanced technical knowledge on excel, data exploitation, analysis, and visualization skills to analyze who has access to what in the system
Must know how to make knowledge appealing enough for people to use and refer to. - may need to advertise access permissions and control requirements and repackage them as an understandable piece of documentation
