Job Description
The Opportunity
This is a dual role with accountability for leading Compensation & Benefits (C&B) for Philippines and HRBP responsibility. The role reports into the Philippines HR Leader. The incumbent will be a core member of the HR team as well as regional C&B community and will work closely with both regional and global peers to support organization's HR priorities and initiatives. The role is based in Philippines.
Scope
Develop and implement C&B strategy and programs and processes in close collaboration with regional C&B centre of excellence (CoE) and country HR Leader. Manage local C&B vendors. support communication of C&B programs locally.
Provide HR Business Partnering support and successful adoption of the HR Operating Model across divisions/ functions in Philippines.
What you will do:
As Philippines C&B Lead:
Lead and facilitate implementation of policies, and programs that are in compliance with the global C&B framework.
Ensure labour law compliance and provide support on CA preparation and negotiation
Provide guidance, consultation, and training to country HR and Talent Acquisition teams. Provide consultation on salary proposals, retention plans, job re-leveling and pay equity analyses.
Ensure equitable and competitive C&B practices. Design and develop C&B programs such as compensation structures, sales incentive plans, severance plans, pension plans and other benefits programs to ensure they address business strategies and needs.
Support administration of benefits programs through effective management of local vendors in partnership with Procurement.
Lead and coordinate market benchmarking exercises and proactively tap market insights to inform C&B decisions and programs in the region.
Actively participate in regional C&B community and projects and collaborate with peers for best practice sharing, standardization, and process improvement.
As HR Business Partner:
Support talent management, team, and organizational alignment activities within client groups. Support restructuring and organization change management activities when necessary.
Coach leaders and members of leadership teams to successfully manage cyclical people management processes such as talent management, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning.
Provide consultation to business stakeholders on appropriate talent attraction, retention, and reward strategies (in consultation with CoEs as necessary). Support business in achievement of the Diversity and Inclusion strategy.
Partner with regional Learning & Development lead in organization capability building initiatives.
Lead and facilitate employee communication, engagement, and culture building initiatives. Support assimilation of new employees and people managers in the organization.
Facilitate smooth operational HR support in coordination with regional HR Operations and other non-HR stakeholders on matters such as- payroll approval, benefits administration, personnel file management, global mobility, employee health & safety, HR metrics and reporting.
Provide Employee Relations advice and consultation to managers on topics related to performance management/improvement, employee grievance resolution, policies, procedures, and labour law compliance.
Provide leadership and project management for critical HR initiatives across Singapore/Vietnam as needed. Closely collaborate with regional and global HR colleagues for best practice sharing and to ensure alignment of local practices and programs with the collective HR strategy and goals.
What you must have:
Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration or equivalent field. Post Graduate specialization in Compensation and Benefits Management desirable.
3-5 years experience in C&B is an advantage
Competent in Excel and/or other data management and reporting tools
Good interpersonal skills both spoken and written.
