Purpose of the position
This position will be responsible for performing human resource administrative and analytical work, particularly on labor relations; employee engagement activities; health & safety activities; providing analysis on various HR programs and initiatives; and other support required by the HR Manager on all employee-related matters.
Key Tasks
Labor Relations
Manage the employee discipline process
Provide counsel to employees regarding policies and programs
Develop and implement new policies, practices, and programs to meet organizational needs
Monitor conditions of employment and minimize industrial disputes
Administer grievance procedures, mediation, conciliation, and arbitration proceedings, if needed
Handle dismissal and NLRC cases
Participates in and conducts legal, fiscal, and procedural monitoring activities
Engagement Partner
Design the structure of different employee engagement events according to the learning objectives of the organization which align with business strategy and corporate initiatives
Continue to evolve strategies for driving employee engagement over time, to align with industry research and peer benchmarking, promote work-life balance, and meet future varied needs of our varied employee base.
Develop, analyze and evaluate the impact, risk and opportunity, resource requirements and cost/benefit of new engagement programs.
Lead the local employee engagement committee. Liaise with employees at all levels to coordinate strategic project-based work to ensure planning, activities, tracking and evaluation are being completed in a timely manner.
Coordinate company-wide engagement activities for local implementation (culture & engagement survey, awards, anniversaries etc.)
HR Analyst
Collect, compile and analyze data to produce different HR reports and analytics that will be used to track trends and developments assigned in different business functional areas
Research, analyze, and present data as assigned to develop standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics
Meet with different levels to discuss and clarify requests for projects, highlight issues, and make recommendations to address issues and priorities
HR Generalist
Act as a generalist to cover other HR facets that will give service to employees such as general HR concerns
Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
Assist on various research projects and/or special projects
Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by HR manager
