The HRSS Team Leader will be responsible for people and performance management for his/her direct reports, and will carry out procedural tasks necessary for any of the People Support or Contracts Administration teams. He/she will also engage directly with key partners in the People Ops Program Team and counterparts from other teams within HR.
What You'll Do
As a Team Leader for any of these functional teams, you are expected to:
Provide a high-level of support to employees by responding to questions and advancing issues as necessary through our ticketing system, Jira, and serve as a critical issue point for Tier 1 queries.
Represent the team in interactions with People Operations, and work with the HRSS Program Team in managing the transition of new verticals and/or ad hoc projects.
Propose and execute continuous improvement initiatives for automation, process streamlining, and/or quality improvement.
Managing the team's performance and morale through regular mentoring, metrics/data reporting, and employee engagement.
What You'll Need
Proven experience of at least 3 years in an HR shared services, HR outsourcing, or internal HR (recruitment, payroll, benefits, etc.) support environment with at least 1 year of supervisory experience in any of these fields.
Must be amenable to work on different shifts depending on operational requirements.
Must be operationally familiar with Google Suite.
Bonus Points
Workday experience and/or experience from other HR applications or CLM system is a plus.

As a strategic partner to People Operations, the HR Shared Services team is responsible for four main functions - general HR query management (for questions regarding the policy, immigration, mobility, benefits, etc.); employee data management (data changes, compliance monitoring, reporting); contracts generation (for new hires, promotions, location changes, contract amendments); and Onboarding (background check processing, profile integration, new hire portal management).
