HR SENIOR SPECIALIST
Business Division: DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (DGFF)
Reports to: Head of HR
As an HR Senior Specialist at DHL, you will implement various HR processes and policies by providing day-to-day HR support and solutions to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain employees to achieve business objectives in line with business needs, overarching HR plans/ policies, best practices and current legislation
IN THIS JOB, YOU WILL:
Recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience
Manage large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager
Problems faced are difficult and often complex
Act as a consultant advising on different HR disciplines to Business Managers and employees at local level
Deploy and coordinate HR policies and activities to suit immediate needs of Business Managers and employees spanning across employee lifecycle
Support managers with hiring process, contracts and on boarding new employees * Facilitate delivery of employee development needs and drive employee career development program
Conduct reviews, preparatory talks and performance calibration meetings with managers in line with defined Performance Management process
Support change initiatives and acts as change agent
Keep up-to-date with latest development in HR industry and labor legislation
Enhance awareness and compliance with company policies/ and procedures and legal requirements/ regulations
Convince other subject matter experts to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
May cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g. external service providers
Build strong, trusting crossfunctional relationships with DPDHL managers
Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers and key stakeholders
Provide technical guidance to line managers and employees
Individual contributor who may manage two or fewer employees
May direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs
Coach, review and delegate work to lower level professionals
YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience partnering the business at a senior management& executive level in a complex environment e.g. multi country/customers
Team leadership - small to medium size teams
Prior budget management experience
Proven experience of leading deployment off complex organizational change projects
6 years of experience in area of responsibility
College degree or equivalent experience
