Job Description
Job Objective
The Retention Specialist supports the HR Manager in the placement and service of employee benefits with the efficient delivery of products, services and analysis in accordance with the partner's benefits package.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Enters accurate partner information into system applications
Explains company compensation and benefit programs, such as medical, accident insurance, retirement, etc, and ensures employees are enrolled in government mandated programs.
Prepares reports to communicate information about employee concerns and comments and organizational actions taken.
Attends conferences and meetings, as employee-management liaison, to facilitate communication between parties.
Audits benefit accounts and examines records to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Arranges for employee physical examination, first aid, and other medical attention.
Conduct investigations of employees for disciplinary matters, write reports regarding the investigations and make discipline recommendations in consultation with the employee's TL and HR Manager.
Develop and/or implement employee recognition programs.
Supports partner retention by reflecting a positive image with partners
Resolves escalated service issues including eligibility and claims
Performs eligibility changes to include enrollments, terminations and other modifications.
Advise TLs on the proper procedure in handling personnel matters and issues including employee evaluations.
Coordinate and facilitate grievance procedures and maintain discipline/investigation files.
Analyze, develop and review policies and regulations to determine if revisions are required.
Maintains strong carrier/vendor relationships
Stays informed of carrier/vendor product knowledge and shares with the group
Stays informed with legislation concerning labor laws
Participates in required continuing professional development
Other Tasks
In charge of:
daily timekeeping of all employees of the company
registration of new hires to the HRIS
maintenance of the completed 201 files of the company
Carry out the exit interview in case of any employee resignation
Carry out orientations regarding their compensation and benefits for newly hired partners to assist with their onboarding with the company
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Graduate of any four (4)-year course related to Human Resources or Business Administration
EXPERIENCE
The position requires at least five (5) years of experience in employee benefits administration.

Proficiency with Oracle SQL
Punctuality in turning over time keeping reports
Resiliency in times of abnormal workload
