A DAY IN THE LIFE
HR Operational Excellence Analyst
In this position you are the leader and champion of Operational Excellence in the Global HR Services and ER team in Asia Pacific. You partner with the teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement, challenge and optimize our internal HR processes and lead or participate in projects to further simplify the service we deliver to our customers and help to improve employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the visions of the HR Opex team and the Global HR Services and ER organization
Drive the implementation and adoption of Operational Excellence across HR
Promote Operational Excellence and the Medtronic Operating System (MOS), its cultural aspects to create a continuous improvement culture that gets everybody engaged, and embed customer centric thinking throughout the organization
Align the organization with the strategy through Strategy/Policy Deployment
Actively lead, teach, coach and support process improvement initiatives/A3's
Create structure & overview during Kaizen events and A3-DMAIC projects
Support to build local capacity for adopting and implementing the Operational Excellence principles and related skill sets needed to successfully embed a continuous improvement culture within the teams
Lead strategic process improvement projects for the HR organization
Establish and keep close contact with the different functions
Act as a change agent, helping the organization in their continuous improvement journey
Actively apply change management tools to enable the cultural change towards a continuous improvement organization
Due to the international team composition and nature of the role, a limited number of meetings will take place outside 'regular' office hours
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Nice to have
Bachelor or Master Degree
Consistent application of project management leadership and extensive application of continuous process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent
Strong and demonstrable project management skills: planning & coordinating, communicating & influencing; achieving milestones, resolving issues and managing risks
3+ years of experience in coaching, mentoring and consulting
Experience in a leadership role preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (preferred) certification
Ability to lead/support multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in at least English
Experience working in a shared service center organization is a preferred
