Job Summary
The HR Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the HR department in Quezon City including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing and creation of company policies and practices subject to corporate office alignment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage hotel's HR Department, ensuring compliance with all hotel policies and procedures; government regulations pertaining to employment practices
• Develop and implement recruiting and screening systems and procedures to attract most qualified candidates for position vacancies
• Coordinate with other Departments regarding manpower vacancy and recruitment of employee following established standards, policies and procedures; assists them in the orientation training, development and evaluation of their personnel
• Provide trainings and development and ensure all activities are in accordance to the needs of the hotel and all training program has been smoothly executed
• Investigate and review all disciplinary actions to ensure the actions are complying with the labor law, and hotel rules and regulations
• Establish HR budget
• Attends Hotel operation meeting
• Represents hotel in attending labor cases
• Monitor staff performance appraisal in agreement with other Department Heads
• Monitor present and future trends of local labor situation, legislation and recommends an appropriate action
• Regularly checks employee's health and safety including staff facilities to ensure they are well operated and maintained
 
Qualifications:
• Graduate of Psychology, Human Resource, or any degree relevant to the position
• With diploma in Hotel Management is a plus
• Minimum of 7 years of solid experience in the same field and on the same capacity (as HR Manager)
• With experience in Hotel as HR Manager
Competencies and Skills:
• Strong computer skills and experience with office management and communication software
• Ability to understand statistical data and mathematical concepts and how to apply them to HR processes
• Excellent leadership, training and developmental skills
• Strong decision-making skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Expert in labor laws set by governing authorities and organizations
• Ability to comprehend complex language, theories and methodologies
• Time management and organizational skills
