The eMental Health platform was conceptualised in January 2020 because of the growing need for easier access to preventative mental health care. The development was then fast-tracked and launched due to the demand created by the global pandemic. Hereby, virtual mental healthcare will fulfill the unmet need for clients traditionally underserved by other mental health practitioners. There are some scientific sources stating that online mental healthcare has been shown to be effective for clients who may have difficulty reaching person-to-person appointments with Psychologists during normal business hours, while decreasing the number of missed appointments for in-person therapy.
Job Description
Primary Purpose of the Position
The HR Generalist is responsible for assisting the HR Manager or the Executives to carry out the overall human resources strategies and processes. S/he is also responsible for administering the processing of business permits, securing employer's registration to government agencies, timekeeping, and payroll, etc. as may be deemed necessary for the business operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitates strategic HR policies and procedures in accordance with the Philippine legislation and in line with the company's vision, mission, and values;
Assists the HR or the Executives in the implementation and monitoring of the established policies and procedures;
Conducts talent sourcing and recruitment activities that conform with the set competencies and qualifications of the position;
Administers effective onboarding program for new staff to ensure successful probationary journey;
Assists the HR Manager or the Executives in developing a career roadmap for all employees for every function and based on the required competencies of the job;
Facilitates learning sessions for all employees covering the topic on culture, values, leadership, improvement, and all HR related topics;
Monitors learning and developmental programs for all the employees, and measures the effectiveness of the learning and developmental programs, and ensures completion of the programs as planned;
Administers and monitors performance appraisal period, and ensure completeness of the documents in a timely manner;
Administers employee discipline and grievance proceedings in accordance with the Philippine Labour Laws;
Administers stay and exit interviews to gather data essential for future improvement in terms of HR services;
Facilitates employee engagement programs in a manner that contributes to employees' efficiency and productivity;
Manages employee's records and payroll from gathering of time records to payroll disbursement including preparation and submission of all reportorial requirements; and
Liaises and processes requirements necessary for business operations such as but not limited to business permits, office space, etc.
Qualifications
Job Specification
Graduate of bachelor's degree, preferably Psychology, Behavioral Sciences or related field
With at least three (3) years of experience in HR Generalist function
With a background in HR Business Partnering
Ability to adapt in a diverse and dynamic working environment
With excellent English communication, both verbal and written
With strong inter-personal skills
