Job Description
We are looking for an HR Associate to support our payroll and benefits activities. You will undertake a variety of tasks such as entering payroll information, managing our internal databases, keeping employee records in digital formats, and assists the Payroll Officer in all government-mandated and company-initiated benefits administration.
Ultimately, the goal is to carry out all payroll procedures with speed and accuracy if you have great attention to detail and outstanding analytical and numerical skills, we would like to meet you.
You will be responsible for:
Assists the Payroll Officer in all government-mandated and company-initiated benefits administration
Acts as liaison to the government agencies (SSS/PHIC/HDMF/BIR)
Assists in processing of loans and claims (SSS/HDMF)
Assists in monthly payment and posting of government-mandated benefits
Monitors documents for transaction with government offices (SSS/PHIC/HDMF/BIR)
Reports newly hired and resigned employees to the government offices
Assists in timekeeping process - gathers, arranges, summarizes employees attendance submitted by employees per cut-off period
Encodes newly hired employees to the biometric system and extraction of raw data from biometrics
Informs immediate superior and addresses any discrepancies/misconduct in timekeeping incurred by employees for immediate action
Perform related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
Proven work experience as an HR Payroll and Benefits Assistant or similar role
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.
Understands basic computation of payroll and other government benefits and requirements
Hands-on experience with an HRIS or any equivalent payroll software
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Knowledgeable of labor laws
Excellent people skills, attention to detail
Excellent time management & organisational skills
Strong command of the English Language both oral and written
Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously and as a team player
Must be willing to do fieldwork such as visiting government offices as needed
Ability to handle confidential information

Our teams are currently working from home, however, this role will be based in our Makati head offices once circumstances allow. In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate your home working the environment is as follows:
conducive home office (free from noise and distraction)
main internet: wired internet of at least 5mbps
