Main Purpose of the Job:
Working as part of the GSSC HRSS Asia team with the prime focus on Singapore, the main responsibilities of the role are:
Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process and benefits programmes to ensure that employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsible for providing support and assistance on employee queries related to payroll, as well as compensation and benefits (C&B) related matters.
Job Description (Key Responsibilities):
Perform the full spectrum of monthly payroll processing timely and accurately, and in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements
Ensure timely and accurate submission of all statutory reports, payments and processing of government claims i.e. monthly CPF payments, income tax filings and clearance, NS make-up claim, foreign worker levy, government childcare, paternity and maternity leave claims and etc.
Verify and process annual employment income data for IR8E file upload to IRAS
Prepare monthly payroll reports and reconciliation, provide payroll information to internal/and or external stakeholders and resolve any payroll discrepancies
Responsible for the submissions of quarterly statutory surveys
Handles employees' queries on all payroll related matters promptly
Update and maintain employees' leaves, claims, medical records and ensure that information is kept up to date and adherence to company's policies and standards
Administration of employee medical and health insurance
Manage and document monthly payroll process for Singapore to ensure employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner
Support the Singapore HR team in annual C&B exercises, such as: reward review, benchmarking exercise, letter production and other related tasks.
Manage and maintain the process and documentation of all other rewards and / or incentives programmes (e.g. Recognition Award, Long Service Award etc.)
Maintain accurate payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data in the payroll system and HCM
Providing adequate backup to allow for absences, both planned and unforeseen, with the HRSS Asia payroll & total rewards team
Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours):
Degree in Human Resources or related discipline and/or work experience
Between 3 and 5 years of work experience within a payroll role, ideally with an MNC organization focusing on a number of different jurisdictions in Asia
An understanding of Singapore labour law in relation to payroll and tax declarations an advantage
Good attention to detail, good organizational and planning skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Well-verse in full Microsoft Office suite and Payroll System - Pay Master
Previous knowledge of using HR systems
Work location: Circuit Makati (currently in WFH set-up until further notice)
