People Services:
Support the APAC/AMER regions on day-to-day people matters including benefits, payroll, time and absence management, all things Workday (job detail changes, compensation changes, transfers to other managers), etc.;
Coordinate HR initiatives and HR projects in region; may assist in roll out of local and global programs, initiatives, and policies;
Make use of Avid's ticketing system, ServiceNow, in managing employee queries; work with the rest of HCSS in identifying trends and analyzing tickets;
Contribute to developing HR knowledge base by referring to resolved cases and closed ServiceNow Tickets;
Facilitate offboarding which include sending exit information to employees, informing stakeholders, and completing termination processes in ServiceNow and Workday;
Prepare compliance-related reports sent to government bodies e.g. quarterly Workplace Situationer Report sent to PEZA;
Prepare all staff communications as needed;
Identify processes or practices within and outside of HCSS that can be improved
Maintain data in Workday, make corrections as needed, and ensure all business processes are closed. Work with HRBPs in completing business processes on time.
Partner with HRBPs and Manager on performance management concerns and in assessing potential disciplinary cases and following through on next steps.
Drive employee engagement through wellness activities and benefits orientations;
Partner with the entire People and Places Group on action plans to improve our employee Net Promoter Score; and on programs intended to improve employee experience and internal customer service as informed in part by our Annual Culture Survey
Payroll
In the Philippines, provide payroll instructions bi-weekly and final pay instructions as needed to the Payroll Group
For AMER, conduct bi-weekly US salary audits
For AMER, work with Payroll group in completing unemployment claims via the Equifax portal, as needed.
Onboarding
Communicate pre-employment requirements and pre-onboarding information to successful hires
Work with other functions including Payroll, PTG, and Workplace to ensure the new hire has everything needed prior to and on day 1.
Schedule the new hire orientation and conduct benefits session for hires.
For APAC, work with Benefits vendors in enrolling hires to standard insurance benefits.
For Philippine hires, send 3rd and 5th month probation review reminders to Managers and retrieve the necessary documentation to support regularization, probation extension, or termination of probationary employees.
Complete the Workday Hire process for employees and Contract Contingent Worker for contractors.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
HR Degree or equivalent formal training
Passion for customer support and solutioning
Knowledge of APAC & Americas HR practices, policies and applicable employment laws
Knowledge of HR systems (for ex: Workday, ServiceNow)
Thirst and curiosity to explore, research, learn and apply global HR practices
Have excellent empathetic and compassionate communication skills; written, verbal, on-line and interpersonal
Team player able to collaborate across geographies and different cultures
Strong technical skills using HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite on a daily basis
Good analytical skills, attention to details and solution oriented
Strong time management and prioritisation skills
Self - starter and eager to learn and grow in the role
