To lead the assigned Payroll stream and services team, ensuring the Total Service Quality, efficiency and effectiveness for the service lines they are responsible for. Responsible for managing and processing payroll, ensuring standardization, compliance and continuous improvement, in line with global guidelines and design.
A day in the life of...
Key Outputs / Deliverables:
1. Team leadership and management: Leads the team in establishing and accomplishing objectives as aligned with the workstream priorities, evaluates team performance and conducts regular coaching and appraisals, creates and executes developmental plans for the team members, ensures team productivity through effective work distribution and assignments, builds a strong talent pipeline, fostering team development and retention, manages team own budget.
2. Payroll service line: Activities include payroll processing, direct deposit payments, online pay statements, etc, manages and implements Collective Bargaining Agreements in payroll systems, handles employee data receipt (time, attendance etc.) and validation, follow-ups on incorrect pay information, ensures that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met (quality and timeliness), proposes and ensures implementation of action plans, ensures that standard procedures, training materials and documentation related to data administration are current, accurate and updated as necessary aligned with global standards.
3. Total Service Quality: Coordinate and encourage the team to reach reduce costs targets, thereby reducing annual, according to targets set by NGBS whilst maintaining or improving the agreed service levels with the Markets, act upon the agreed actions to ensure TSQ, seeks ways to continuously improve the relationship and service delivery to the Markets based on TSQ identified actions, foster an end to end mindset in the team and others to ensure effective problem solving and service delivery, works in partnership with the SPOC and MAL to improve service delivery and solve issues raised by the Markets.
4. Continuous Improvement: Standardizes client's payroll processing system and procedures on a global basis, and provides timely, efficient and accurate processing of payroll data, ensures implementation of best practices, drives Nestle Continuous Excellence initiatives in partnership with Markets and other streams, identifies improvement and automation opportunities and aligns with global solution leads for implementation, interacts with local partners to monitor evolution of legal requirements and partners with GLOBE and Market to ensure effective and timely implementation of legal requirements
5. Compliance: Monitors controls and compliance, guarantee the implementation of compensating controls monthly according to guidelines set by national and international audits, coordinate Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for the processes and service lines under their responsibility, performs routine data audits and ensures employee data are up-to-date and accurate, provide the legal reporting, documentation and collection as per the local legal requirements.
