About the Head of Procurement Role:
The Head of Procurement is responsible for non-trade procurement goods and services within the premise and the outlets across the Philippines.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the key spend across the businesses in Philippines on a strategic level
Develop and drive across local strategies as well as contributing towards the regional and global category sourcing strategies and initiatives
Establish strong relationships and work cohesively with local and regional business partners to achieve commonly shared goals
Lead key spends through a capable team of category experts
Be consistently involved in strategic sourcing activities to continue to drive a diversified list of vendors with a key focus on achieving cost savings
To succeed in this role, you must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in general procurement managing a large per annual spend.
Key Requirements:
Subject-matter expert in several key spend areas ranging from both direct and indirect categories
Proven background in managing a large spend with key cost savings
Strong leadership with a focus of leveraging on the key strengths of individuals within a team and developing them for future leadership roles
Articulate, strong communication and negotiation skills are paramount to succeed in this position
