About the Head of Corporate Governance Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining good governance within the bank supporting the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
Directly coordinate with the compliance, audit, risk and office of the board secretary all needed business processes and systems for good governance
Oversee community relations, business continuity management, business performance management, public affairs, corporate strategy, ethics management, investor relations, stakeholder, and sustainability management
Build a robust corporate governance program bank wide, develop the corporate governance manual
Ensure accurate information are provided to the regulators in a timely manner
Update and report the bank's related party transactions (RPT)
Oversee the implementation of the integrity upholding policy
To succeed in this Head of Corporate Governance role, you should have strong audit, governance and compliance experience from another reputable bank or financial services.
Key Requirements:
Must be a Bar passer, lawyer by profession
Minimum of 10 years' solid work experience in corporate governance (audit, compliance, risk)
Held a senior management role in a corporate governance role
Ability to work with autonomy and also a team player
Good people and stakeholder management
Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong motivation and personal drive to succeed
