A global company based in Alabang is recruiting for a Head of Accounting and Controlling job. In this role, you will be responsible for the controlling, accounting, treasury and taxation functions of the organisation.
About the Head of Accounting and Controlling Role:
This role requires close interface with Regional Finance as well as the operations group for management reporting. You will also ensure compliance with internal control systems and procedures across functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage analysis by cost centres/areas together with the operations, and actions in case of deviations
Provide analysis on deviations from job pre-calculation, and ensure these are communicated and coordinated with proper actions taken by the functional areas
Monitor, report and analyse the risks and opportunities versus targets including proposals for remedial actions and improvements
Manage the planning process establishing the planning criteria in accordance with the general guidelines of the company
Manage monthly and year-end closings and prepare the Closing and the Financial statements. Should also ensure that all Reporting is completed on time and to the established standards
Manage the Accounting functions to ensure timely and accurate booking and ensure the fulfilment of all fiscal and legal obligations
To succeed in this Head of Accounting and Controlling role, you need to have strong business partnership and commercial mindset together with proven experience in leading a team and managing multiple stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
CPA with at least 10 years' experience coming from a fast-paced, multinational work environment with solid background in management and financial accounting/operations
Extensive experience in preparation of financial statements, tax returns and other government reporting requirements
Knowledgeable in IFRS and BIR regulations
SAP knowledge and work experience with the Big-4 accounting firms are an advantage
