Job Description
The candidate should have an interest in Cybersecurity Operations and possess expert knowledge of technology and software development. Experience to include creating detailed level system architectures, application development and deployment at enterprise scale, distributed computing systems, and operations. Direct web development and software architecture experience are plus.
The candidate should have previous cloud and On-Prem automation experience, a demonstrated track record of a production infrastructure implementations and possess both hypervisor and server/CPU hardware expertise, and at least one prior job as an IT infrastructure delivery or operations team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree within a science or related discipline.
3-4 years direct experience in development/ automation development.
Excellent oral and written communications skills and listening skills.
A 'can do' attitude team player who works well under pressure and with dispersed groups, worldwide.
Involvement in project implementation using any of the following: AWS EC2, ELB, S3, IAM, ECS etc. (or) Azure Compute, Cloud services, Azure Active Directory, Traffic Manager, Express Route.
3+ years of design and implementation experience with distributed applications.
Knowledge about APIs and to architect cloud ready applications
Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances.
Working experience on Nexpose module in Ruby is added advantage.
Exposure in working on CI/CD pipelines and administer them fluently.
Strong knowledge on scripting languages (Python,PowerShell,Ruby)
Experience working on Linux based infrastructure.
Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, PostGRE
Strong experience in utilization of APIs
Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
Awareness of critical concepts in Security and Automation.
Should be having troubleshooting skillsets across various environments and integrated environments.
Knowledge on Infrastructure and network security concepts would be plus.
Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills to enable navigation of the company to identify sponsors, stakeholders and interested parties
Design, develop and maintain business intelligence platform to provide data driven actionable insights
Improve the internal processes by automating manual processes
Build a smooth relationship with IT stakeholders
Strong oral communications and writing skills are a must
Design and implement automated systems for use in diverse environments
Support existing automation technology with component and process enhancements.
Ability to handle bugs and propose improvements in existing environments.
Exposure to Node.js would be plus.
Database: PL/SQL
On-Prem Platforms: VMWare, Bare metal (HP, Dell).
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with stakeholders.
Willingness to work with geographically dispersed teams; may involve working during non-business hours occasionally to accommodate time-zone differences.
Travel: This position will periodically visit other offices; may require domestic or international travel.
