You will be a trusted advisor for Philippines employees, consulting on talent issues across the business. You will develop close working relationships with the leadership team to ensure valuable support and advice is offered on all issues relating to people management and you will support and listen to individuals to understand their growth needs and engagement in the business. You will have a thorough understanding of the Philippines employment relations landscape, applying your knowledge for the betterment of people experience.

As needed, transitioning the structure of the Philippines people team to best support the business
Building trusting relationships with the agencies, having established credibility as a reliable, responsive, value-adding advisor
Thoroughly understanding the structure, roles and responsibilities within GroupM Philippines
Starting to translate business strategies and objectives into organisation capability and talent requirements
Responsibilities of the role
Engage and proactively partner with managers and leadership team in understanding their business needs and provide strategic advice and initiatives to achieve the business goals
Develop employer brand externally as well as internally
Effectively deploy agency, regional and global projects / systems / initiatives
Oversee the performance review process and continually improve the standards of performance reviews
Develop and monitor compensation and benefit programs aligned to people strategy
Identify and support learning and talent development needs to enable and support the talent strategy
Drive pipeline talent activities, continuously searching for ways to broaden talent pools
Engage strategies to effectively address retention requirements
Up to date knowledge of local HR policies and local employment law
Develop, consolidate and report on key HR analytics
Ensure HR policies are in line with local legislation and global and regional WPP/GroupM policies
Support WPP & GroupM audit & compliance activities as necessary
Be hands on when needed to support the end to end operational management of the employee lifecycle.
What you will need
10+ years of generalist HR experience with strong focus on HR business partnering and HR operations
Up to date knowledge of Philippines employment law, hiring foreign talent and general government directives that impact the employment relationship
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation
Project management skills and ability to drive organisational change
Demonstrated experience in data analytics employee insights reporting
Coaching, mentoring, and counselling skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Previous experience in a highly matrixed fast paced organisation where priorities are constantly evolving
Resilience and the ability to be agile in work output
