The Group Finance Solutions Group team is to support Group Finance with the delivery of Strategic, Regulatory, Process & Automation change initiatives through aligned cross divisional expertise in a dedicated RTB Change Team.
The Associate will work on the delivery of the RTB Support requirements for the implementation of the IFRS 9 Projects. The role will require collaborative engagement with Project SMEs, RTB SMEs and IT Teams to ensure successful delivery of the project. The Associate will be a member of the team performing process impact analysis, UAT executions, conduct detailed investigation and root cause analysis of data quality issues. The role will also ensure that relevant impact and changes in the SOP Standard Operating Procedures) are well documented.
Your key responsibilities
Work on the delivery of Run-the-Bank (RTB) support requirements for the implementation of Projects within Entity Close - APAC; collaborate with Project Subject Matter Experts (SME), RTB and Information Technology (IT) teams to ensure successful delivery of the projects; Perform process impact analysis, User Acceptance Test (UAT) executions, detailed investigation and root cause analysis of data quality issues and will also safeguard the documentation of any relevant impact and changes in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Collate, document and analyze RTB pain points and relate these to business requirements; research issues from the Legal Vehicle and Business Area Controllers relating to project deliverables to facilitate a resolution, and escalate when appropriate
Perform financial and regulatory reporting data analysis for project delivery and assist with all phases of the project life cycle (i.e. analysis, design, development, testing and implementation) to ensure that project deliverables meet stated expectations for scope, quality and business objectives
Provide SME support for project related issues and propose solutions; work closely with IT to help define Functional Design documents as needed and lead/perform UAT and highlight key issues and risks to the stakeholders; summarize UAT results and recommend UAT sign-off to stakeholders, develop training and handover material prior to Go-Live, and ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
effectively communicate relevant project information to other project team members, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion, ensure appropriate use of the Bank's tools, processes, and methodologies and undertake project support and test management duties subject to experience/demand.
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with proven years of experience in Financial Services Industry - preferable Investment Banking - Global Markets, Corporate Banking
Proven experience working within the profession of Business/Data Analysis within the Finance arena; experience working on Global General Ledger Projects
Able to assimilate voluminous information and rapidly learn technical and business knowledge. Advanced knowledge in MS Office products (Access/Excel) ; Excel skills are key - VLOOKUP, pivot tables. SAP Knowledge is a must.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Able to handle high volume of work within a limited timeframe. Strong interpersonal skills, approaches interaction with stakeholders in an organized manner
Ability to work with a virtual teams, within a matrixed organization and in a fast paced environment. Proficient in English and with excellent communication skills both oral and written. Effective time management, documentation and organizational skills.
