Job Title: Group Finance Solutions Group - Business Finance Controller - Associate
Location: Manila

The Associate will be working on Daily Close Tokyo Project, and will support the DC Project by performing Business Finance control activities that will enable the engagement from GFCT BF team. There will be a period where there will be dual-processing due to split go-live/ Exception management in dbPalace in the absence of DQM/ Operational Readiness testing.
BF RTB- no allocated headcount to perform testing, operational readiness, cutover support and required coverage until normalization of new process/workflow is embedded.

Your key responsibilities
Perform data completeness and integrity checks and/or review breaks, as well as clear exceptions through adjustments and/or provision narratives
Produce daily Profit and Loss and Risk reports and analyze movements through review of risk profiles and market data changes
Assist in the resolution of Trader queries in a timely manner, and obtain Trader sign-off for final Profit and Loss
Liaise with Operations team to ensure breaks are cleared in a timely manner
Perform Quality Assurance function and assess effectiveness of controls
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's Degree in either Math, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Business or Management Engineering, while further professional qualification or study .e.g. CPA, CFA, CMA, or Master's Degree will be an advantage.
Knowledge of a range of financial products and markets will be expected from you in this role, while knowledge of US-GAAP/IAS is beneficial.
Additionally, you will need to have strong competencies in investigation, problem resolution and detail intensiveness
You will also need to possess excellent communication skills and ability to confidently interact with a diverse set of stakeholders, as well as a change mindset- as Deutsche Bank embarks on a multi-year program to transform its strategic architecture and improve its processes.
Experience in automation, and using programming languages such as Visual Basic for Applications, Visual Basic, Python, Tableau and Alteryx will be an advantage.
