Position: Google Ads Media Buyer
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM PST
Tuesday - Saturday 12 AM - 9 AM PHT
Holidays: PH/US Regular Holidays
Salary: 1,500 - 1,800 USD (Depending on the interview result and client's approval)
Company Overview
We run a digital marketing agency serving the home improvement industry in the US. We're a small team of 6. Some of us are in Canada. Some in the US. We have 50 clients and are rapidly growing.
This role is a Google Ad expert media buyer to help run and optimize our Google ad campaigns to get the lowest lead costs and continue to find new opportunities on keywords.
We generate leads for 3 manufacturers of outdoor living products. Motorized pergolas (StruXure), motorized screens (progressive screens), and outdoor cooling (ventizio). We need a pro that has expert knowledge of every nook and cranny of the google ads platform. And has a pulse on strategies for Google ads and upcoming changes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Be involved with the setup of new Google ads accounts
Manage and optimize a selectlist of high priority Google Search ad accounts
Continually look for new opportunities to bring down lead costs on all assigned accounts through keyword optimization, quality score optimization, testing of ad copy, testing of the campaign and ad group structure
Setup and manage remarketing strategies utilizing GDN and Youtube
Setup and test brand new GDN campaigns to cold traffic
Setup and test brand new Youtube campaigns to cold traffic
Brainstorm new lead opportunities on Google ads after becoming familiar with the products we are marketing (Gmail ads, shopping ads etc...)
Flexibility to try new ideas from the ops manager (possibly even off of google ads)
Requirements
Have 3-5 years of full-time experience running Google search ads campaigns
Understand account setup and tracking with Google Tag Manager
Experience using Google Analytics to analyze landing page/website traffic
Various launch and optimization strategies on the Google ads platform including a very good understanding of Google's new "responsive search ads" format.
Having experience with several of google's bid strategies is an asset, but you MUST have experience and proficiency using manual "CPC (Enhanced)" bid strategy as it is necessary for success in this niche. If you can provide a case study or history of success using this strategy that would be ideal.
Experience running successful campaigns on the Google display network and also youtube ads
Confident in testing and optimizing campaign audiences, copy, and creatives to hit KPIs.
Have a track record and history to show how they improved lead cost KPIs over time on other accounts (lower lead costs)
In short, this person should have at least 3 years of experience running Google ads. No newbies or intermediate people (we have 2-3 beginners/intermediates on staff already).
You must be a total expert on google search ads. Knowledge of google display network, YouTube, and Gmail ads and huge plus so we can explore those avenues as well.
They should also be very tech-savvy with websites, automation tools, landing page software, etc.
We have lots of existing keyword and campaign data. So this person should know how to analyze it all and spot opportunities to improve our campaigns immediately.
This person should love living in the google ads dashboard tweaking and optimizing campaigns. They should get great satisfaction from improving campaigns and be a self-starter motivated to keep finding new ways to improve lead costs and get exceptional results for our clients.
Has a background in Marketing and lead generation
Has Good Communication Skills (both written and verbal)
