We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling payroll processes, with a focus on US payroll regulations and compliance. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders across different regions.
Own the end-to-end payroll process for multiple Global entities (varies between monthly and semi-monthly paid).
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for US employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Stay updated on changes to tax laws, labor regulations, and other payroll-related legislation to ensure compliance.
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy in the payroll system.
Prepare and file payroll taxes, including federal, state, and local tax returns, in accordance with regulatory deadlines.
Generate payroll reports for management review and auditing purposes.
Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure accurate processing of employee data and seamless integration with other systems.
Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on payroll-related inquiries and issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2-3 years experience of processing global payrolls, with a focus on US payroll.
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
