Directors in this role get to: Be the Expert: Conceptualization, development, planning, and directing the execution of language programs to be deployed globally. In collaboration with internal stakeholders (Talent Acquisition, Service Delivery and Business Development leaders) the Director will oversee and lead all phases of creation and delivery of language products and services, having responsibility for content management, market and user research, project planning, sourcing, managing project schedules and budgets, and guiding product testing and quality control to ensure the integrity of the services offered. Know the Business: Manage the identification and partnership of preferred vendor partners, as requested. Enable and Guide: Guide and lead GLA team constantly evaluating existing metrics, ensuring proper metrics are in place to drive continuous improvement and added value to the organization. Where appropriate, implement new processes, metrics, assessments and best in class evaluation techniques and platforms to reduce both cost and time to hire, reduce turnover, and increase the satisfaction of the operating segment. Constantly Improve: Develop and implement ideas for improving the portfolio of services offered by staying up to date with global, customer, competitor and industry trends, leveraging knowledge to create the most relevant, innovative and effective language solutions. Shape the Workplace: Identify key development channels for the team partner with TA regional leaders to assist in developing the implementation of creative sourcing strategies that ensure candidates are best in class/best fit for the organization and will have the highest potential for retention /advancement and overall performance on each project. Strengthen Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with key leaders to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs, on a global scale. Adept at collecting information from and analyzing trends of, customers on a regular basis. Be the Owner: Manage the department's budget to control cost-per-assessment and maximize the value of the team's investments. Qualifications: Our most successful candidates will have: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent proven experience Experience in English as a Second Language processes and challenges Solid experience in soft skills and language/communications training Focus preferred for 5+ years Strong oral and written English communication skills Ability to interact and present to executives and operation leaders/clients High sense of urgency and strong follow-through Ability to influence and negotiate at the executive level Ability to lead, motivate and develop high performing teams Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities #LI-EN1
