Duties and Responsibilities:
Review, analysis and reconciliation of Monthly bank recon
Perform various account reconciliation in the Balance Sheet and journal entries
Prepares period-end adjusting entries and accruals
Perform month-end close processes
Ensures that accounting policies, procedures and control measures are properly observed
Filing and payment of VAT and EWT returns including preparations of schedule/reports such as SAWT, SLSP, QAP etc.
Assist in the annual financial audit and prepares audit schedules
Assist in the Tax Audit (BIR and LGU)
Liase to BIR, LGU and other government agencies
Monitor company's fixed assets and prepares lapsing schedule
Other project and functions as deemed necessary by the management
Qualifications
Must be a Bachelor's Degree holder in Accountancy
Knowledgeable of tax compliance and VAT Claims
Preferably with 2 years experience in General accounting or audit
Knowledge in Computer Accounting system is a plus but not required
Hands- on experience spreadsheets and financial reports
Accuracy and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
