Functional overview
This role ensure that an organization's accounting information and practices are accurately reflected. They gather and verify the accuracy of financial data, check journal entries, and reconcile accounts.
Duties and responsibilities
Prepare global bank account reconciliations on a monthly basis
Prepare intercompany journal entries, reclass journal entries, and global expense report imports
Prepare the US culinary accrual amp; culinary spend analytic on a monthly basis
Prepare the monthly commission accruals, ensuring completeness and accuracy
Prepare other month-end general ledger reconciliations as needed
Assist with month-end variance analysis in FloQast
Prepare audit support for team amp; ensure processes are SOX compliant
Minimum competencies
With Netsuite experience - ideal candidate is intermediate / proficient with Netsuite features including CSV imports and saved searches
Intermediate Excel skills
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and take ownership of work
Detail oriented: able to work with large volumes of data with speed and accuracy. Ability to self-check work
Ability to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Strong knowledge of key accounting concepts, GAAP, SOX controls
Time management to ensure timely completion of given tasks with accuracy.
Minimum qualifications
Candidate must be a graduate of Accounting or Finance.
With at least 4 years of accounting experience including at least 2+ years in public accounting and/or a technical accounting role in a multinational public company or pre-IPO/high growth company
Successful candidate must be amenable to work from home temporarily.
Can start ASAP.
