Main Tasks
Manage day to day accounting activities, mainly focusing on general ledger.
Responsible for month end closing tasks and submission report.
Responsible for general ledger reconciliation, analysis of financial accounts and prepare of journal enties.
Summarize current financial status by collecting information, prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports.
Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting are prepared for various stakeholders.
Manage preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintaining a fixed assets register including tagging.
Identify opportunity for continuous improvement in department procedures/processes; implements changes as needed to improve the efficiency and productivity of the team.
Responsible in audit process and liaison with auditor on annual statuory audit.
Responsible and liaison with tax agent on tax compliance including corporate tax and indirect tax assist in other area of the Finance team as appropriate and when required to ensure that all operational target are mets.
Continuously improve processes and execute optimization initiatives
Provide general support to the organisation as required
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management
