Description
The DELIVER Project requires a GIS Specialist that will provide technical assistance in providing geographic based data analysis and visualization, in support of infrastructure projects assisted by DELIVER. This is designed to add another dimension of analyzing data as an input for project development. Since, many of our infrastructure project development is always location driven, it will be strategic for the project to employ location based data analytical tools and data visualization software in order to provide more context and expanded visual perspectives in analyzing the projects and its dimensions. This will serve as a good common ground for various analytical fields (e.g. economic, financial, environmental, social, and legal) to see eye to eye and understand each other, resulting to a comprehensive analyses, in support of better designs, planning, budgeting and justification of the projects.
The consultancy will also require a mentoring focus in that the consultant will involve the relevant stakeholders in order to build the capacity of the stakeholders to explore improved and expanded ways of utilizing GIS related software owned by the government (e.g., the DPWH)
