Job Descriptions
Draft terms of reference for site surveys and assist in the procurement of survey contractors
Review and comment on the contractor's documentation including geotechnical design, method statements, risk assessments, inspection and test plans, etc.
Contribute to the development of geotechnical design
Implement the inspection and quality control of the geotechnical testing to verify compliance with contract requirements
Implement the inspection of the works including dredging, reclamation, compaction, revetment slope construction
Visit and audit rock quarries to determine material quality and quantity for use in the construction works
Do material sampling and testing for independent verification
Prepare construction records including daily, weekly and monthly reports
Job Qualifications
10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering works
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geo-engineering (geological or geotechnical engineering) or other relevant degree
Knowledge on geotechnical investigation works, laboratory testing, ground improvement works, and basic understanding of geotechnical design
Licensed Philippine Civil Engineer
