Better requires process discipline, and simplification
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will provide day-to-day guidance, strategic partnership, advice, and support to assigned business unit employees and people managers/leaders for the Philippines entities. You will be expected to directly address more complex HR issues with the business, employees, Human Resources Leader and COEs. You will also ensure the uniform and consistent application of company policy, in addition to adhering to local guidelines. With the responsibility of developing and administering effective human relations programs.
Here are the main responsibilities for the role:
HR Business Partnership - Develops and executes strategies in collaboration with HR Leader, HR Generalist and people leaders to support business objectives with focus on improving employee retention, satisfaction and engagement
Talent Management - Participates in curriculum design and delivery related to employee on-boarding and skills development. Works with the business to plan, coordinate and implementation of training and development activities, including needs assessment of the employees in skills gap analysis, propose appropriate training vendors, contract negotiations, and overseeing proper facilitation of training programs including logistical requirements
Compensation and Benefits - Leads or participates in initiatives related to compensation and benefits review, analysis and development of recommendations.
Employee Engagement - Initiates and executes employee work/life balance, health and wellness programs and evaluates effectiveness
Employee & Labor Relations - Provides guidance to People Leaders in the effective and consistent implementation of the company rules and regulations, handling grievances, due process, investigations and carrying out disciplinary actions.
HR Analytics - Conducts workforce data analysis, prepares summary reports, develops and recommends strategies and actions indicated by such data.
Performance Management - Provides counseling or consulting support to people leaders in managing performance-related issues (i.e. Performance Improvement Plan, etc.)
Regional Support - Be part of local or regional/global HR projects
Here are some skills, attributes, and qualifications you will have:
Education or equivalent experience is required
Preferably at least 5 years of Human Resource experience with HR generalist leadership/supervisory exposure in BPO/ Call Center and financial services.
Knowledgeable on the Philippine Labor Code and other statutory/government requirements.
Knowledgeable on government-mandated benefits, i.e. Social Security Systems, Pag-Ibig, Philhealth, and HDMF.
Excellent business partnership, leadership, communication, collaboration, Stakeholder Management and interpersonal skills
Strategic and Critical Thinking
HR Data Analytics Skills
Project Management
Knowledgeable on HRIS (i.e. Workday); Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)
Flexibility to work in midshaft schedule or according to business needs
