General VA with Accounting Background
 
We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Virtual Assistant to join our team and is available to start straight away. We would prefer someone with experience in accounting & general administration. The VA's duties will involve data entry while maintaining financial records and reports, making reconciliations, helping with budgeting and closure processes, maintaining accounts payables documents, producing estimates and contracts, and executing general administrative tasks.
 
An outstanding Virtual Assistant should have excellent organizational & analytical skills since you will play a crucial role in supporting your client's day-to-day operations by providing administrative and technical assistance remotely. The VA must also possess strong oral and writing communication as you will be working closely with your Australian clients.

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the plumbing company through virtual assistance.
Effectively utilize simPRO, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe PDF to perform various tasks. (Training will be provided for SimPRO software).
Handle data entry tasks related to supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage and organize digital files, documents, and records efficiently.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information and client data.
Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, and events.
Prepare and format documents, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as required.
Communicate with internal team members, suppliers, and clients via email or other virtual communication platforms.
Perform general research tasks and gather relevant information as requested.
Assist with other administrative duties as needed.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance is required.
Preferably with 1 year (or more) customer service, accounting & virtual assistance experience
Great English Communication (both spoken and written)
Experience in working with simPRO is an advantage but not a requirement as training is provided.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping process and who enjoys a new challenge and will be happy to move onto other administrative/ business management tasks once the data entry and bookkeeping is running smoothly.
Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe PDF.
Good computer skills with SimPro, CRM database, Xero, Quickbooks
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Familiarity with the plumbing industry is a plus.
