Description of Roles and Responsibilities
* The Professional Staff will be reporting directly to the General Manager and will perform the following functions, as assigned by the client:
* Manages team of general accountants that handles general accounting, reporting and compliance of Thermal and Diesel Plants.
Team Responsibilities/Deliverables:
* Maintenance of general ledger accounts of assigned companies to ensure accuracy and integrity of books of accounts and financial reports in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, at all times.
* Timely closing of books and preparations of periodic financial statements and analyses for management and financial report consolidation requirements, on a monthly basis.
* Compliance to all other filing, payment and submission of reportorial requirements to LGUs, SEC, BOI, ERC, DOE, SBMA and other government regulatory bodies.
* Preparation of documents, schedules, reconciliations requested during audit of the following:
* SGV - annual statutory audit and special review engagements
* Department of Energy - audit of government share
* All other tasks that may be assigned.
Direct Responsibilities/Deliverables:
* Equal distribution of tasks and responsibilities among general accountants.
* Reviews of monthly financial reports to include but is not limited to general purpose financial statements and variance analysis. Responds to CFO queries/clarifications on the monthly financial statements and other accounting related inquiries.
* Managing the team in ensuring timely tax filing, payment and compliance in tax audit requirements.
* Final review and sign off on tax returns and ensuring timely filing and payment.
