Job summary:
As a General and Tax Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for general, tax accounting, and financial planning and reporting and will be directly reporting to the CFO.
Key job responsibilities include:
Supervises the overall accounting functions
Responsible in proper handling of payables and timely payment
Prepares audited financial statements
Prepares management financial reporting
Ensures compliance to all financial reports as required by government agencies (BIR, SEC, IC)
Prepares and monitors budget.
Oversees annual audit (statutory and Insurance Commission).
Other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
At least 5 year(s) of extensive experience, preferably insurance or financial services organizations
High attention to details and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
