Job Description
As a General Accounting Officer, you will work closely with the Country Manager, Philippines to be responsible for overseeing the recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information, working with external outsourced accounting partners, monthly reporting to Group Finance, implement department controls and procedures, and ensure that the department operates efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.
Your responsibilities with include:
Handle disbursements and proper documentation.
Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and send out invoices promptly and accurately and to track and record customer payments and deposits.
Prepare and review billing statements for accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure billing is consistent with services rendered.
Implement an effective collections strategy to minimize outstanding receivables.
Escalate collection efforts when necessary, following company policies and regulations.
Generate regular reports on accounts receivable, billing, and collections status.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve cash flow and reduce delinquencies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in accounting standards.
Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Country head.
Minimum Qualifications
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience in Finance institutions or a related industry may be preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.
Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping software and MS Office.
High level of efficiency and accuracy.
Willingness to comply with all local, federal, and company regulations.
Attention to detail and the ability to analyse large amounts of data.
Minimum of 3 years working experience.
Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig
