Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides assistance to the Accounting Team
Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Maintain an accurate and complete record of financial transaction
Update and maintain the general ledger and books of account
Preparing tax returns and ensuring that taxes are paid properly and on time
Entering financial transactions into internal databases and reconciling invoices
Create and update expense reports
Process reimbursement forms
Prepare bank deposits
Maintain digital and physical financial records
Perform other duties as required.
Job Specifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Accounting Technology is required
General Accountant experience and knowledge
Proven bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
At least 3 years of Accounting experience
Knowledge of local laws to comply with statutory reporting requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Can work and learn independently and with a team
Strong attention to details
Willing to start ASAP and onsite (Manila City)
