An Australian- based Insolvency firm is looking for an AccountanT for its offshoring branch in the Philippines, to contribute to the ongoing effectiveness of Auxillium Partners in the accomplishment of its mission and vision; providing accounting services to small and medium sized enterprises and organisations.
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Fluency in oral and written English
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
Proficient in accounting packages such as Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks
Work experience with reputable accounting firms or international organisations
Exposure in Shared service or Multinational environment
Able to travel to Perth Western Australia if required when COVID travel restrictions permit
Ideally with experience in processing registration and insolvency with SEC and other related agencies
Exposure to insolvency/corporate recovery in Ph or Au
TECHNICAL TASK FOR THIS ROLE:
Provision of support for regulatory compliance for Australia
Review of client management reporting which includes Balance Sheet and P&L
Able to analyse and integrate potentially conflicting numerical, verbal and other data from a number of sources
Strong report writing and problem-solving skills
Prepares process documentation and flowcharts
Performs other accounting related functions that may be assigned from time to time including forensic investigation/analysis or audit
Other duties as assigned by Manager/ Supervisor/Partner.
ADMINISTRATIVE TASK FOR THIS ROLE:
Online lodgement of Australia Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) corporate recovery and rehabilitation regulatory documents
Creditor documentation and associated regulatory tasks for various Australian insolvent companies
Ensure proper and complete documentation with online filing for easy retrieval
Desktop research and article writing as directed by Partners
Other duties as assigned by Manager/ Supervisor/Partner
