Job Description
To ensure adherence to company's accounting policies and procedure and the timely and accurate recording of transactions and generation of complete Financial Reports
Accountable for:
The strict implementation of the company's policies and procedures
Timely, complete and accurate recording of financial transactions and compliant to financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, industry-related laws and company policies.
Accurate and timely generation of financial statements and supporting schedules which are compliant with financial reporting standards.
Ensuring that processes for improvements are brought to the attention of management.
Implements working procedures and processes for the department in compliance with the accounting financial reporting standards and recommends improvements in procedure when applicable.
Conduct orientation on accounting policies, guidelines and procedures
Communicate with the concerned Department for any deviation from Accounting policies, guidelines and procedure.
Records, monitors and audits other income transactions
Records, monitors and maintains updated balances of non-trade receivables, prepaid assets; equity accounts, related-party transactions and year-end adjusting entries
Ensures reconciliation of assigned accounts
Prepares reports for controllable and non-controllable cost
Computes monthly and yearly provision of income tax
Ensures that GL and SL balances are reconciled and accounts schedules are updated
Prepares timely and accurate financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for internal and external stakeholders
Prepares other reports as required by management, shareholders, government and other regulatory agencies
Leads and coordinates the preparation of various requirements for internal and external audit, and BIR audits
Analyzes Financial statement and account balances
Manages user queries regarding monthly reports.
Performs bank reconciliation.
Ensures implementation of the Chart of accounts (Account Description, Cost Center, Locations, Components, etc ) in the Oracle Financial and Subsidiary Ledgers (Maximo)
Consolidates and reviews the books of accounts and registers for submission to BIR
Reviews employee-related transactions like payroll, final pay, deductions/ refunds and prepares request for payment for final pay
Performs Petty Cash Count and other related audit functions
Performs other tasks as maybe assigned by the immediate superior and management
Minimum Qualifications
Automated Financial Systems (ERP System)
Knowledge in MS Application (Excel, Power Point, Word)
Can adapt well in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Results oriented; can meet operational deadlines and standards
Highly proactive and exercises a high level of confidentiality
Keen to details and precise
Knowledge of Philippine Taxation
Willing to work in a fixed-term contract until December 31, 2023
