General Accountant (bookkeeper)SUNRISE SEARCH & SUPPORT INC.

1. Records or updates the books of accounts on a daily basis all the financial transactions.
2. Files and stores the supporting documents in a secured place.
3. Creates and maintain the lapsing schedules of all depreciable fixed assets.
4. Prepares journal entries to make adjustments or corrections in the books of accounts, subject to the approval of the Controller or in accordance with the Limits of Authority Matrix.
5. Reconciles daily the General Ledger control account balances, together with the Reconciliation Analyst, against subsidiary records such as but not limited to the following:
· Fixed assets lapsing schedules; versus fixed asset account groups in the General Ledger;
· Inventory listing; versus the accounts balances in the General Ledger;
· Cash balances in bank savings passbooks and bank statements;
· Totals of the User accounts in the Application Platform.
6. Generates trial balance, financial reports and other reports from the accounting system at least once a month for review and approval of the Controller
7. Performs other related duties that may be assigned by the Controller or management.
Graduate of Accountancy
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting, financial reporting & related financial management areas, preferably in electronic payment industry.
